Meloxicam

Description

Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and improve function in patients suffering from various conditions such as arthritis. It works by blocking the production of substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain.

Uses / Indications

• Osteoarthritis

Dosage and Administration

Adults:
The typical starting dose is 15 mg once daily. Depending on your physician’s recommendation, the dosage may be reduced to 7.5 mg once daily.

Children (6 months and older):

How It Works (Mechanism of Action)

Missed Dose / Overdose

Missed a dose?
